Harford County Detachment 1198 Instrumental in having Route 23 Dedicated in Recognition of Maryland's Gold Star Mothers

Harford County Detachment 1198 of Department of Maryland was instrumental in having MD Route 23 dedicated in recognition of Maryland’s Gold Star Mothers.

On 20 October 2006, the detachment hosted a dedication ceremony for the unveiling of the new highway sign. The ceremony was attended by local state and county officials, several Maryland Gold Star Mothers, local military leaders, representatives from other veterans organizations, MCL department and detachment members.
